Explosion-Proof Magnetic Polishing Machine PMPM-EP800

The PMPM-EP800 is the explosion-proof version of the Precinova Systems magnetic polishing platform. It is designed for plants where the finishing area is classified as a hazardous zone — think solvent-based cleaning lines, magnesium and aluminium dust environments, defence component shops, and chemical or pharmaceutical machining bays. The polishing principle is the same as the standard PMPM-09050 and PMPM-12060: a rotating magnetic field drives stainless steel pins through the media tank so they deburr, polish, de-oxidise and clean inner holes in a single cycle.

What changes is the electrical and mechanical protection. The control cabinet, wiring glands, switchgear and motor are all built to explosion-proof standards, and the tank is fully enclosed so vapours cannot reach an ignition source. The machine runs on a standard 380V three-phase supply. Because every hazardous-area installation is different, the PMPM-EP800 is supplied as a non-standard build: tank size, bucket layout, cycle control and cabinet position are all specified against your part mix and floor plan.

Typical applications include fuel-system components, magnesium alloy castings, ordnance and defence hardware, battery and e-mobility parts, and any workshop where the finishing step sits next to a degreasing or solvent process. Cycle times remain short — most batches complete in 10 to 30 minutes — and the pins are semi-permanent, so running cost stays close to the standard machines.
